If you have no subsidiary in the country, an Employer-of-Record can be the legal employer. We introduce you to established partners — the contract is between you and them.
We stay out of the employment chain
We find and present; you employ. Local labour law treats finding people very differently from supplying them, and keeping that line clean is what makes the arrangement safe in every market we work in.

How employment works
Calima finds, screens and presents the people. We are not the employer and we do not supply staff. You employ the person you choose — through your own entity, or through an in-country Employer-of-Record. If you have no entity in that country, we can introduce you to established EOR partners; you contract them directly, and they carry local payroll, tax and statutory compliance. Your agreement with Calima is for the search. Our fee is paid by the employer; we never charge candidates.
Local eligibility
Many countries cap the proportion of foreign workers an employer may engage. We assess eligibility country-by-country and tell you up front if a role can't be filled with international talent — we place people only where local law and quotas permit.
